These Terms of Service govern your use of ERISAbonds.com, operated by The Southern Agency. By using the site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site. The website provides general information about ERISA fidelity bonds, tools for estimating coverage, and links through which eligible users may access a third-party surety checkout.

Educational information, not professional advice

Site content is general educational information and is not legal, tax, accounting, investment, or employee-benefits advice. It does not create an attorney-client, fiduciary, advisory, or similar relationship. ERISA Section 412 and applicable Department of Labor rules govern federal bonding requirements—not a summary, calculator, or example on this website.

Plan facts differ. You are responsible for determining whether Title I of ERISA applies, who handles plan property, the amount handled, whether employer securities are held, and the coverage required. Consult qualified professional advisers for a determination based on your plan.

Calculator and pricing information

Calculator results are estimates based on values you enter and general statutory rules. They are not a coverage opinion or guarantee of compliance. Pricing shown is subject to available coverage tiers, state availability, term selection, underwriting rules, and correction of errors. Any premium displayed is the total premium for the selected term, not an annualized amount.

Selecting a state is required before a purchase option is displayed. Availability of an online path does not mean that every applicant, plan, amount, or risk qualifies. Contact us for coverage over $500,000 or questions involving multiple plans.

Third-party application and purchase

Purchases are completed on a third-party surety checkout. Following a purchase link takes you away from ERISAbonds.com. The third party's terms and privacy notice govern the application, payment, underwriting, issuance, delivery, cancellation, and related services conducted there. ERISAbonds.com does not process payment cards or store applications submitted through that checkout.

A bond is not effective merely because you use this site, calculate an amount, or begin an application. Coverage is effective only as stated in bond documents issued by the surety. Review all issued documents promptly and contact the agency if information appears incorrect.

Acceptable use and intellectual property

You may use the site for lawful informational and business purposes. You may not interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, introduce malicious code, scrape it in a manner that burdens systems, misrepresent affiliation, or use content unlawfully. Site text, design, graphics, and compilation are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You may print reasonable portions for internal plan-administration use, but no broader license is granted.

Disclaimers and limitation

We strive for accurate, useful content but do not warrant that every page is complete, current, uninterrupted, or error-free. Laws and agency guidance can change. Changes, governing requirements, and contact

We may revise these terms by posting an updated version. Continued use after posting constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply. Insurance transactions remain subject to applicable law, issued documents, and the third party's checkout terms. ERISA Section 412 remains the authority for the federal requirement.
